Gängige PR-Strategien, die bislang erfolglos für die Publikation des Jubiläums benutzt werden, basieren auf einem Übertragungsmodell von Sender, Empfänger und Botschaft, das die Unwahrscheinlichkeit von Kommunikation nicht erfassen kann. Die Untersuchung zeigt einen neuen Weg, um für Kommunikationsobjekte möglichst viele Anschlüsse zu finden. Dafür ist es nötig, Grenzen empirischer Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaft genauso in den Blick zu nehmen wie konstruktivistische Versuche, Kommunikation und Medienwirkungen zu verstehen. Die Perspektiven münden in einer systemtheoretischen Auffassung von einem Kalkül der shape von Kommunikation. Das Kalkül bietet eine Hilfe für die, die in der Praxis Kommunikation systematisch so ausrichten wollen, dass Anschlussmöglichkeiten für vorübergehende Lagen gesteigert und Unwahrscheinlichkeiten sichtbar werden können.
