entstehen und wie die Zukunftsperspektiven für Megastädte in Bezug auf mögliche Grenzen des Wachstums sein können. Dabei soll erörtert werden, ob es vorstellbare Wachstumsgrenzen für Megacities gibt und wo diese ggf. liegen. Auf eine einseitige,
detaillierte Betrachtung von Megastädten in Industrie- bzw. Entwicklungsländern wird bewusst verzichtet, da beide Themengebiete gleichermaßen von Bedeutung sind.
Die Arbeit beginnt mit einer detaillierten Betrachtung der Begrifflichkeiten und Definitionen. Im Hauptteil wird auf die Entstehung und Entstehungsgründe sowie die Ausbreitung von Megacities näher eingegangen. Kapitel five stellt die Probleme in
Megacities dar und soll aufzeigen, ob es theoretische oder vorstellbare Grenzen des Wachstums gibt. Die Seminararbeit endet mit der Präsentation und kritischen Diskussion der erzielten Ergebnisse.
